Horses: Horses of the Sea

Shot in Southern France in June 2016 with the Canon 1Dx, 7D Mark II, 70-200 2.8 II and 24-70mm 2.8.

It was a thrill to finally see these gorgeous, semi-wild Camargue horses in the South of France. These spirited beauties loved frolicking in water. That meant that we trudged through ponds, rivers and the sea as well in order to capture these images. The muddy bottoms would snag our hip waders, jarring our feet out of our shoes; and, I'm so glad that I didn't topple over, unlike others. Anyway, this was a new shooting experience and well worth the visit.
